Abstract :
Gives a brief report on the activity of a Working Group set up within the United Kingdom to assist with the introduction of a multipoint video distribution service (MVDS) at 40 GHz. The system planning considerations, the transmission system requirements, the MVDS receiver design, the propagation aspects, and the system specification are discussed
