Abstract :
After considerable studies, tests, and discussions, taking into account the service requirements and application of digital radio broadcasting, the interests of the public and broadcasters, as well as the long term impact on the radiofrequency spectrum, it is believed, in Canada, that the optimum approach for the implementation of digital radio broadcasting appears to be the mixed terrestrial/satellite service in the band allocated at WARC-92: 1452-1492 MHz
