Abstract :
Briefly discusses the development of HDTV in Europe. The coverage of the 1992 Winter Olympics is described. This operation, mounted by Vision-1250, involved a massive investment of human and technical resources. A large fleet of HD OB vans were operated by a multinational variety of crews. The positive aspects of the operation and the problems encountered are outlined
