Abstract
A control scheme for a novel three-phase four-switch half-bridge active power filter is proposed. The amplitude of phase currents can be determined by setting the appropriated DC bus reference voltage. No high-order filters are required. A laboratory prototype adopting the proposed scheme demonstrates high power factor and overall efficiency.
