Abstract
By using the rapid acoustical data analysis system it is possible to obtain all the relevant acoustic parameters of a room from a single measurement in a few seconds. The most important acoustic information about a control room relates to the discrimination between the direct radiated energy from the monitor speaker and the reflected energy forming the `tail´ of the impulse response. By comparing the data for both channels, the stereo imaging accuracy can also be appraised
