An empirical study on tourist satisfaction about high speed railway based on factors analysis—A case study on Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high speed railway

High speed railway has been one of main transportation means of tourists for travelling. Service quality, corporate image of high speed railway affect tourist satisfaction. In this thesis, by factor analysis, the author analyses the main factors which influence tourist satisfaction on the basis of Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high speed railway studies. The study found that service quality, riding comfort, riding convenience and fares rationality are main factors that influences tourist satisfaction for high speed railway, among them, service quality is the most factors, safety of high speed train is the most satisfactory factor in service quality factors, the cleanness and comfort of train are most satisfactory factors in riding comfort factors; traffic connections is not convenient between suburbs and destinations or market region in riding convenience factor; fares is the most dissatisfactory factor.
