Private virtual networks: key considerations

Private virtual networking enables private network transport and services to be provided using public network infrastructure. This offers the corporate customer the benefits of reduced costs, the availability of advanced services and the simplicity of obtaining all networking services from one source. Also, PVNs offer the public network operator advantages in terms of growth in network traffic through rapid deployment of new services and ease of incorporation of new customers.
