Abstract :
A novel semantic representation model based on Concepts and Knowledge Trees for the elements of news is described in this paper. The theoretical foundations about Concepts and Knowledge Trees are introduced briefly first. Then the key points of representing the semantic information of the four main news elements using the given model are explained respectively. Both advantages and disadvantages of the model are discussed from theoretical and practical view.
