Abstract :
A wireless sensing system based on a microwave resonator has been successfully demonstrated. The sensed resonant frequency is identical to the resonant frequency of the resonators. A sensing range up to 8 cm between antenna pairs was achieved. It was found that the placement of antenna orientations has a noticeable effect on the sensing range. This wireless sensing system will be used to sense very high temperatures using ceramic-based microwave resonators.
