Abstract :
Recent developments of planar 2-D LWA designs have been discussed which can be thought to parallel optical hologram formation. By using cylindrical SW launching on a GDS and by the addition of appropriate PRS configurations, LWs can be excited. Furthermore, by varying the phase difference between a pair of SWLs, the SW on the substrate can be steered and with suitable PRSs single frequency LW beam steering is achieved.
