Abstract :
Addresses the task of developing a new computer model of the human face processing system that differs from other approaches in that it is an implementation of computing techniques designed to emulate human characteristics. It is neither a theoretical model without practical realisation not a computer model without psychological plausibility. It is hoped that this new computer model will be of some use in understanding the human face processing system because it is fully testable under many conditions
