Abstract :
The basic theory of the multilayer meander-line circular polarizer is presented. Both the Floquet series and the algebraic analyzing methods are given, meanwhile the improprieties in some papers are also pointed out. With the application of microwave network theory, the calculating method for parameters such as axis ratio and insert loss is given. By utilizing the multi-object optimum method, the designing method for meander-line circular polarizer with a bandwidth of 6-18 GHz is presented.
