By making changes in the feedback circuit and compensating adjustments to the anode load, it should be possible to make an oscillator work with constant DC voltages and currents but with a wide variation in efficiency. As the efficiency is reduced it would be expected that the RF anode swing would increase. To test this the experiments described were done
