Abstract :
This paper proposes deterministic algorithms for decentralized network coding. Decentralized coding allows us to locally specify the coding operations at network nodes without knowledge of the overall network topology, and to accommodate future changes in the network such as addition of receivers. To the best of our knowledge, these are the first deterministic decentralized algorithms proposed for network coding.
