Abstract :
Planning a power system consists of taking decisions about investments in order to meet future demand with an acceptable quality of service while minimizing the overall costs. The authors present EDF´s approach in the field of interconnection planning: the study organization, the evaluation of economic savings and technical advantages brought by the planned network, and some concrete examples of such recent studies
