Abstract :
The optimum design of the feed for a C-band microwave relay antenna with super high performance is achieved by using high frequency structure simulation. By means of the perturbation method of the structure sizes, the manufacturing tolerance of critical sizes for the feed are determined. The agreement between the measured and computed data is excellent. The measured VSWR and isolation of the feed are better than 1.06 and 40 dB in the range of 4.4-5.0 GHz respectively.
