Title :
Some impedance measurements on a low frequency EMC illumination antenna
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
The EMC chamber at Rover Group´s Gaydon Test Centre is used to perform a wide range of RF emission and susceptibility tests over a very wide range of frequencies. The author reports briefly on some impedance measurements performed on a purpose-built ´parallel line´ antenna used in that chamber for vehicle susceptibility tests in the frequency range 3 MHz-50 MHz. The impedance measurements were performed for: the impedance presented by the antenna alone; the impedance characteristic with a Mini placed under the antenna; the impedance characteristic with a fastback under the antenna; and the impedance characteristic with a Discovery under the antenna.<>
