Abstract :
Discusses the prospects for realisation of a satellite DAB system for broadcasting to mobile receivers. It is concluded that, although non-recurring development costs will be incurred, there are no major technical hurdles to prevent a first generation HEO (highly elliptical orbit) sound broadcast system from being launched within the next six years
