Abstract
A two-element slot antenna with back-conductor, fed by the microstrip line in series configuration, is analysed using the spectral domain technique. It is shown that by a proper choice of the lengths of the two elements and the distance between the elements, this antenna system can provide a very large bandwidth in excess of 25 %. Some experimental validations are also presented.
