Abstract :
The author discusses some types of concurrency that can exist in signal processing algorithms, whether the concurrency is worth exploiting, and, if so, the ways in which it can be utilized to improve an algorithm. The discussion focuses on an example of an intelligent triggering system for identifying Motor Unit Action Potentials (MUAPs) in an Electromyogram and classifying them according to the Motor Unit from which they originate
