Abstract :
With a maximum gain of 6 dBi, sufficiently wide radiation patterns in both planes, as well as sufficient bandwidth and isolation, the antenna has met or exceeded all of the initial design goals. In addition, the entire array weighs less than 13 grams. Best of all, further weight reduction is possible with this design, since materials as thin as 10 mils could be used for fabrication without reducing performance.
