Abstract
Pressures to maximise utilisation of the spectrum have resulted in narrow spacing between paired bands allocated to personal communication networks (PCN). A bandpass filter with increased selectivity on one side of the passband has been implemented. The asymmetric filter could be applied to a duplexer design to increase isolation between Rx and Tx ports. This would permit full duplex operation for the closely spaced paired bands allocated to PCN
