Abstract :
The effect of feedpoint displacements on the properties of center-fed dipole antenna are analysed.Mathematic expressions of radiation characteristics, such as radiation pattern, resistance, and gain, are dirived for the antenna. Numerical and experimental results of a half-wave dipole with either transverse or axial feedpoint displacement are obtained.
