Abstract :
We propose a meander-line resonator, which could provide negative permittivity as a promoted structure from wire lattice. Such a resonator works at relatively low frequencies, and hence has a small unit-to-wavelength ratio. Negative index materials (NIM) is realized by particles composed of meanders lines and split-ring resonators (SRRs), which has simultaneously negative permittivity and permeability in a specified passband with relatively low loss. Simulation results verify the above conclusions.
