Abstract :
The relationship between the electrical conduction and crystallinity of undoped and Mg-doped C60 is studied. The crystallinity of the undoped and Mg-doped C60 films on mica substrates is improved by the epitaxial growth technique. The difference in conductivity between Mg-doped C60 grown on mica and glass with the same Mg concentration is related in the crystallinity difference, and epitaxial undoped and Mg-doped C60 films show high conductivity. However, Mg-doped C60 films with low crystallinity show significant increase in conductivity as compared with undoped C60, that is, Mg doping is more effective in low crystallinity samples.
