Abstract :
In this paper, we mainly focus on the investigation of one of the PE bases´ advanced characteristics and utilize this property to improve the Method of Moments. It is demonstrated that, the PE basis functions can produce sparse impedance matrix in the discretization procedure of the Method of Moments. Therefore, the memory requirement and computational time can be significantly reduced by employing a matrix sparsification technique and an impedance element prediction technique presented in this paper, respectively.
