Abstract :
One of the areas to benefit from advancing technology is clutch cover testing and setting. In order to maintain a technological lead, a range of clutch test machines using computer control was conceived. The innovation was to make use of a substantial commercial operating system for the control, namely the Unix derivative, Xenix. The operation of a clutch cover finger bending machine using computer control, and running under the Xenix operating system is considered in this paper
