Abstract
Conformal array antennas will find their potential and promising applications in a variety of fields ranging from space-borne, airborne, ship-borne, and missile-borne radar, space vehicles and wireless communications to sonar, etc. However, Due to the variable curvature of the platform, two most serious challenges faced in the pattern synthesis of conformal array antenna are the different orientations of elements and the serious cross-polarization.
