Abstract :
The aim of the paper is to propose a fast phase only synthesis (POS) approach to the power pattern synthesis of conformal, shaped-beam reflectarrays, based on FFTs. First, the synthesis approach is described, then the approximation strategy exploited for the FFT-based evaluation of the pattern is discussed, and, finally, the numerical analysis showing the computational advantages is presented.
