Abstract
At the centre of Sizewell B control indication and alarm systems lie the integrated systems for centralised operations (ISCO). The ISCO can be viewed as the brain and central nervous system of the power station. It had always been a great challenge to engineer the ISCO systems to meet the requirements of the station´s target construction programme. Half way through the project a major disruptive event happened and resulted in NE having to change the ISCO contractor. The author describes the process of the change and how the effects of the change were handled
