Abstract
A bandpass tunable filter consisting of distributed MEMS transmission lines (DMTL) capacitively-coupled is designed and then numerically analyzed. The design method is based on the filter equivalent circuit. For the MEMS, an electromagnetic simulator is used to find accurately its T-equivalent circuit. The filter has the insertion loss ∼4 dB and the return loss > 20 dB, when the central frequency is changed from ∼19.4 GHz to ∼20.4 GHz.
