Abstract :
Distribution of electric field and electrical potential in vacuum interrupter of 110 kV is simulated solving Laplace equation limited by certain boundary condition by the means of finite element method. Calculating results show that reasonable construction and arrangement of main shield, main share voltage shields, auxiliary share voltage shields, terminal shields and bellows shield could uniform electric field and enhance insulating strength in the vacuum interrupter. Those calculating results are available for construction design and optimization as well as electric field calculation for high voltage circuit breaker.
