Abstract :
One of the most important problems in wireless sensor network is to develop a routing protocol that has energy efficiency. In wireless sensor networking, power consumption is important aspect. Therefore it is essential to have routing protocols be designed with energy saving in mind. Energy saving, energy efficiency, energy balance are important technologies to prolong service life of wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we improve LEACH routing protocol by suggesting a new routing algorithm. It improves the LEACH routing protocol in several aspects and constructs clusters on the basis of radio radius and distance between cluster heads. Simulation result shows that this algorithm can balance energy nodes consumption, improvement delay and prolong the network´s life time.
