Abstract :
Recently, the author presented a paradigm that can serve as a general framework for the development of sapient (wise) systems. It is demonstrated here that, under the proposed paradigm, it is possible to establish some performance criteria for the proper design and operation of sapient (wise) systems. These criteria are based on establishing proper bounds on some characterizing matrices having a prominent role on the performance of intelligent and sapient (wise) systems.
