Abstract
In this paper, the dynamical model of cauldron system for sterilization is developed. Based on the mass transfer and heat transfer theories the dynamics of the process is modelled by the material balance equation and enthalpy balance equation. With the identification for some important model parameters based on the physical data of the reality, the simulation for the process is conducted in a software environments developed for process control. Compared with the data obtained from the real process, the simulation results illustrate the applicability and validity of the dynamic model.
