Abstract :
An UWB elliptical slot antenna embedded with open-end slit on the tuning stub or parasitic strip on the aperture for achieving the band-notch characteristics has been proposed in this conference. Experimental results have also confirmed band-rejection capability for the proposed antenna at the desired band, as well as nearly omni-direction radiation features is still preserved. Finally, how to shrink the geometry dimensions of the UWB antenna will be investigated in the future.
