Abstract
A nonlinear equalizer is applied to a frequency-selective fading mobile radio channel including a hard-limiter and noncoherent demodulation. π/4 shift QPSK (quadratic phase shift keying) with delay detection is assumed. A two-ray model is used for the multipath environment. The equalizer is simply implemented with RAM and adders. Computer simulation results show significant improvement in bit error rate performance
