Abstract
TiO2 nanodendrite (ND) arrays have been synthesized on FTO substrates using a wet-chemical route. The aligned TiO2 nanowire (NW) array was first synthesized on the FTO substrate by hydrothermal method. The branches of the TiO2 NDs were then formed using an aqueous chemical bath deposition (CBD) without any capping agent followed by another hydrothermal process. With an anode thickness of ~3 μm, TiO2 ND dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) has superior photovoltaic properties to TiO2 NW cell.
