Abstract :
This paper consider measurements made on a 11KV low voltage distribution network in the United Kingdom The principle aim of the experiments are to measure the relationship between the transmitted signal power, noise level and attenuation characteristics for data signals in the frequency band 1.6 MHz to 30MHz. Key conclusions are drawn on these empirical results with respect to Broadband systems operating on this type of architecture.
