Abstract :
Three configurations of small open-slot antennas have been implemented and investigated. The bandwidths of three different shapes open-slot antennas are all over 105 % is obtained. The proposed antenna (Antenna 3) is with simple structure and the small size only 30 times 50 mm2 or less. The measured results show the proposed design can be operated in different antenna size with a wide-band characteristic. The proposed antenna with a broadband characteristics and a small size can be applied to many mobile devices.
