Abstract
Using microwave absorption spectroscopy (electron spin resonance) in polymer materials the methods of soliton theory are applied to investigating behaviors of solitons, electrons and phonons to explain polymer fracture and electron spin resonance spectrometer observations of stress induced bond rupture in polymers. The results show that solitons may be excited only be local effect the energy released during a fluctuation (such as rupture) taking place at the end of a molecular chain will form a soliton, and our results calculated by solitons are in agreement with measurement
