The digital microwave communication has a great future even in the world of today in which optical fiber communications and satellite communications are making rapid strides. In this paper, the author analyzes and discusses the latest developments in digital microwave communications, and puts forward several proposals for its future development in China according to the present situation and actual conditions of digital microwave communications in China
