Abstract :
Discusses the evolution of the computerised flight calibration system. The HP9825A computer was acquired for microwave lending systems (MLS) trials. A computerised system, known as the Skycal system, was devised which took samples of all instrument landing systems (ILS) and MLS simultaneously. The operation of the remote data exchange and central data exchange is discussed. The existing flight calibration software, HPL programming language, data logging, acceptance testing, software support services, and archiving are also discussed
