  • Abstract
This article describes the design and development of the biped walking robot teleoperation and remote monitoring system which uses the technique of intelligent control and computer network programming based on 3G (Third-generation) mobile phone. In developing the system, the hardware, the software architecture and the environment of the network were constructed by windows XP of PC and JAVA environment in the mobile phone. Using such system, not only can we send a control command or execution instruction to the biped walking robot, but also receive video clips from the wireless camera through 3G mobile phone for monitoring the movements of the biped-walking robot. The article presents the experimental result of this system, in which the weaknesses of this approach were found and a new approach was proposed.
