Abstract :
This paper presents a novel planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) with a single probe-feed that can operate at two discrete resonant frequencies in a single patch. By displacing the probe-feed from the two principle axes of the rectangular patch, both compactness and dual-frequency operation can be realized. Such a new antenna provides good impedance matching and wide impedance bandwidth at each resonant frequency. Characteristics and discussions are addressed
