Abstract :
According to the large random drift of fiber optic gyro (FOG), the application requirements for the shipborne strapdown inertial navigation system is studied. Firstly, the characteristic of ship borne FOG output signal is analysed deeply. Based on the real-time requirements of shipborne FOG, this paper applied a method which can meet the real-time calculation requirement of strapdown inertial navigation system. The various wavelet filtering comparison results show the Haar wavelet is superior to other wavelets. In order to improve signal to noise ratio(SNR) and reduce the root mean square error(RMSE), this paper select the appropriate width of sliding window and decomposition scale. Computer simulation result show this algorithm can eliminate random drift of fiber optic gyro (FOG) effectively and guarantee the real-time Signal Processing.
