Abstract
The authors consider the implications of EMC on the design of complex aerospace digital control systems, using a typical spacecraft attitude control system as an example. However, the approach taken can be considered generic, since the principles involved in designing for EMI immunity are also applicable to aircraft and other similar systems. Other typical examples of aerospace digital systems are the computerised flight control system of a fly-by-wire aircraft and the attitude and orbit control system of a three axis stabilised spacecraft
