Abstract
This paper deals with the creation of ubiquitous mobile and personal location systems problem. These systems must offer a unique interface to location-based services, and this must be done in a way that allows the use of multiple and different location technologies. Those technologies must be supported simultaneously, and this is the key to the achievement of an extremely flexible system, which may be adapted to different situations and external applications. Here we present a possible solution to this problem and we also deal with several state-of-art subjects related to location systems. Some of such subjects are the protocols used in such system and some of the facilities developed and attached to the system during our research.
