Abstract :
The need for a modern controller design method which can deal with real system nonlinear behaviour is considered. The philosophy of such a method OSCA (Optimum and Safe Control Algorithm) is discussed with particular reference to gross actuator nonlinearities and robust control with respect to system parameter variations
