Abstract :
Recently, the effect of nonlinear frequency modulation on resolution have been clearly analysed, but it is still difficult to determine the proper requirement of FM linearity according to the expected range resolution so that system is implemented with satisfactory performance and moderate cost. To solve this problem, we have constructed a model of an FMCW source under corrected conditions and analysed the relationship between linearity and resolution using the Monte-Carlo method based on this model
